wahfanku
Help !! I've just received a new belt for the polishing mops on the Whitfield 700 frm Siserve, I thought it would be simple enough to replace the belt, turns out it would make a great puzzle for the Krypton Factor. Can anyone inform me on how to replace it please. Thanks Reg

Gray
if you look at the left hand side of the brush tumble assembly you will see there is a collar and plate bolted through the machine for support. Loosen the collar first (2 screws I think) and slide all the way to the right towards the middle. then undo the 3 bolts around the larger plate, remove the outside one and slide the inside one towards the middle as well. By doing this you will see the hole that the shaft goes through is bigger, just enough with effort to pass the belt through. Whatever you do, dont undo the handle assembly on the right as this is tensioned and sprung loaded. What Peter said _________________
