autolock
I have a customer who is a professional dancer and wants brackets fitted to support heels which are 2-3 inches high and get a real hammering.she showed me a pair done before which have a L type bracket bonded to breast of heel and riveted through shank.where shank had been drilled was weakened and snapped.anyone had previous experience with this or is there anything available for this purpose. elfman
yes take out shank and replace with a full width french style shank or replace it with a piece of carbon fibre mould to shape
Pinkcoke
Yes it's a very old style of repair, I have it on a pair of 1940's shoes where the heel and shank are not joined otherwise.
