Michael
A customer has brought in a watch that has been butchered at one of the local jewellers. They have asked another couple of jewellers who have all said the watch needs to be sent away so I said I would ask around and get a price for repair. The watch is a ladies Ingersoll watch that is square backed with a tiny screw in each corner. The jewellers have used the wrong screwdriver and messed the head of one of the screws up. Is this something any of you have done before and could help? Thanks.
Lee
I have, however it often depends on the case as to if it can be done. If you want to post it to me I'll take a look. but can't 100% guarantee I'd be able to do it & you'd have to stomach postage each way for the privilege of a no! Michael
It is for a lady of rather advanced years so I need to give her an idea of cost before doing anything. She's gonna pop back in next week and see if I've had any luck,I will speak to her about at least contributing to the postage on the understanding it might not be possible. Thanks Lee, will let you know.
