stevecoco
Ok Guys, looking to purchase (trade) a Silver Presentation Lawn Bowls Jack for a club up here in Scotland. I only require the Jack a stand is not required. I have done the usual and googled, but the prices are a bit out there anything from £450-£650 retail price. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced item I can purchase. Cheers

stevecoco
Yes Steven, but I cannot believe that something so small costs so much, there must be cheaper alternatives.

stevecoco
Yes good one Andy. Think there is an opportunity here for the trophy manufacturers for this item, reasonably priced in nickel plated. Had 3 enquiries this year so far. stevecoco
Just checked, the 2 1/2 inch bearing weighs over a kilogramme, the old boys would need a cannon to launch it across the lawn green, I do not want to be the cause of Mr Baxter's (Baxters Soups of Speyside) death.
