Tag Heuer Searacer

Customer brought in a genuine TAG Searacer chrono for a battery change. Fitted the battery OK, but the chrono hands need to be reset to zero. Does anyone have any idea how ?. The customer hasn't got a manual and I am struggling to find anything on tinternet.

have you tried pulling the crown out twice (time setting) then pressing side buttons?, if that don't work it may be crown out once (date position). Also may not work if you replaced with a low drain battery instead of high drain eg 395 when should have been 399

Thanks for the link Lee, but it's a completely different watch. It looks like there was a fault with the watch before he brought it in. I've managed to get hold of an owners manual but it will only partially reset. All working except the 1/10 sec Timer.

The battery was replaced with an identical one.

did you short out the "AC" to the positive side of the battery if it had one?

It doesn't have an "AC" connection Lee. The 1/10 Chrono hand doesn't move at all. Both the other Chrono hands reset OK.
