Key cut to code

Hi Chaps,

I have a lf4 lock that has a code on it of 156, tried my code depths and not working any ideas of the cuts.

Can you not open it up and check the wafer heights.

 

If you can't try shining a torch down the key way and use a probe,pick,needle to look

at the drops of each wafer.As there are only 3 heights you should be able to work out

what each one is, a 3 will drop the most a 1 the least.Start with the last wafer and work outwards

yourself and then using your depth keys you should be able to do this,thats how i do all the ones we get.

 

The only problem you may have is if it isnt a lowe and fletcher lock then it may have more than

5 cuts or 3 depths.

why order you must have instacode or similar to have worked out bitting for such a basic key why not cut it yourself.
