Craig Gardner
45 mins Rick. that is very labour intensive just think how many keys you could have done in 45 mins a plotter like mine would have allowed you to cut out whole sign in one go and pick and apply in about 10 mins.i am now using a foison in one shop with great results only cost about £300. Lee
But at least Rick bagged the order & didn't send the customer away, a good 45 minutes work I think! Lee
kobblers
I don't cut keys from my workshop at home Craig I cut and weeded the vinyl whilst the frame was drying so that woulda been dead time anyway. Seriously, if I thought I'd get more demand for this sort of vinyl work then I'd invest in a larger plotter. Anyway, I got a call from another guy yesterday who'd seen the sign outside the pub and who wants two chalkboard signs making for himself He wants 'em for tomorrow morning though Good job I had some chalkboard made up. Rick.
kobblers
Besides, if i worked on the premise how many keys I can cut in the time it takes me to do a lady's resin sole and heel then I wouldn't bother doing shoe repairs as I can cut a lotta keys for more money in the same time period. I take what I can when I can Rick.
