busy bee
I tried to photograph the profile, but I couldn't get a decent image. The keyways reminded me of the old VW - CA1(Davenports ref) There was no number on the key, but it was an original head with the Yamamha logo on it, and the top was quite thick, which made me think it was a transponder at first, but nothing was detected. Iain
Busybee, Do you have a macro function on your camera? It's a little icon showing a tulip. If so, press that before you take the picture and it will allow you to take excellent close-ups. Iain
busy bee
Iain, Yes I do have a Macro function on my camera, but when I use the camera, the pictures come out HUGE, and I don't know how to make them smaller to put on the forum, I usually end up emailing them to UK900 and he has to do it for me. So I took this photo with my webcam - lol. Do you think there is a forum for hopeless photographers?
Guest Cjm
We think it may be the YMH20S blank, our stock code MB091.
busy bee
I have these in stock, and they aren't right. Any other ideas?
Guest Cjm
You could try YMH21S or YH30RBP.
Auto Key Wizard
Silca YH29RBP If it's not the one above it must be YH30RBP as there are no others to match the image you posted. Here is an image of a Genuine Yamaha TZF key & Silca YH28RBP would be the blank to use for that CJM....Think & Try are of no use what so ever. busy bee
It's not anything like the picture you have posted, I have this blank in stock too. It looks just like the Silca WT7CP or the WT7FP, but it's the reverse pattern. I think the next step is to get the lad back with his bike, so we can try some different blanks in the lock. We might have something in stock that will do the job. I think it's quite new, and probably not available, it's certainly not in any catalogue I have here. busy bee
Got the guy back with his bike outside the shop, and we found a BMW blank which did the job once we had cut the shoulders back a bit. Thanks for all the replies, happy to say we have another satisfied customer. \:D/

Iain
Busybee Download and install irfanview program from here, www.irfanview.com When you take the picture using macro setting, import/drag it into the program then click image>resize. Keep halving it until you reach about 382x287 pixels or thereabouts. Save the picture as a new file and use that to upload to the forum. It will still be crystal clear but much, much smaller. Cheers, Iain

Iain
Never cared much for Paint Gav... The one i've suggested is just so darn quick and easy to use I thought it was worth a mention.
