Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
to Fast fix Elgin, you mention embroidery...are you able to embroider the tongues on football boots?
Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
The only time you have too many services, is when you have one that your no good at IMHO. That could apply to Shoe Repairs in a greater percentage than I would care to guess at judging by todays standards as a customer. You cant be all things to all men, unless of course you are one of the few that can be proficiant in every job that comes your way. A number on forum members can claim this but sadly as more time is given to these extra services then Shoe Repairs may have to take a back seat, not that I am against the extra services, I welcome any new skills but there are those who have great difficulty in taking up new challenges. In this case it may be a few services that they are no good at.

Craig Gardner
A question for everyone/anyone....What services do you provide and when does it become to many, let me start by posting my services. Shoe Repairs, Key Cutting, Engraving, Trophies, T-Shirt Printing, Watch Repairs, Embroidery...also all related services eg; shoe care, straps, mugs mousemats, workware, easybadge, housesigns. etc... i dont think you can have to many services. the way i see it is a little takings each from a lot of services still adds up to a good days takings and a lot of takings from each service makes an excellent days takings. we offer standard services like the local timpson shop (shoe repairs watch straps batteries repairs key cutting engraving nameplates shoe care etc) but we also do most of our name plates and engraving in the shop as we buy sheet material and have a varga saw and beveler. also sub printing mugs mouse mats t shirts etc we sell photo frames and have over 200 watches on display for sale. mobile phone unlocking and repairs and sell mobile phone chargers and batteries.photo engraving by metaza.and a full range of transponder car keys and remotes.and have a mobile key cutting service.also car regestration plates and we find if you are quiet on 1 or 2 services you are always kept going with the other services Craig
