Harrya
Hi there, I hope someone here will be able to assist me, I'm currently looking for a couple of manuals/ operating instructions for a Silca GT40 machine and also what I believe to be an old version of a laser Hurricane machine. Can post photographs if furter identification is needed. Thanks all.

Harrya
Whilst I'm on here, does anyone use or have used this machine before to cut Ford Tibbe keys. I'm looking for advice on how to use the Tibbe adapter to cut a key as I have the ava type and the tibbe one. There is a dial on the right side of the machine, with depths 4/3/2/1/2/3/4 but there is nothing for spacings. Any help would be great. Thanks
Craig Gardner
Whilst I'm on here, does anyone use or have used this machine before to cut Ford Tibbe keys. Thanks i used to have a gt40 i hated it for tibbie it was ok for the ava type.here goes hope you can follow what i mean.with the tibbie carraige inserted my machine had 2 guides the pdf file pic on earlier post only had one mine had a large used for ava and a small used for tibbie.the blank key should be inserted in the right jand jaw and in the left hand jaw their is an atachment with a to f on it which enables you to lift carraige forward using the small guide to insert guide into the required letter with the lever on the right set to 1 , 2 , 3, 3 or 4 depending on what depth you wanted.unlike most tibbie machines the blade is narrower than the width of each cut so you have to cut each cut 3 times to get it acurate. and you can only cut the 2 sides facing up then you have to remove key turn over and then cut the other 2 sides. so a standard ford tibbie key normaly needs 24 cuts but a gt40 needs to put 72 cuts and it is very slow. craig
