Guest quickeys
You can buy full boards with the most common cylinder blanks, but to narrow this down even further will obvously depend on the locks fitted in the area you operate from. i would suggest getting a pre filled board with the most popular and going from there. KEYOSK do a starter cylinder board.
alxfer
I started doing keys about 2 years ago. I got 3 cylinder boards with 4 keys on each from one of the major key suppliers. Yes there are keys on the boards which are just collecting dust, but I steadily built up the remainder and have half filled another board. You can buy plain boards and start building them up, but as quickeys said, it depends on what locks are used in your area. I service a housing agency and find that I sell more ML1 than 1A. Jay
as said, it depends a lot on what area you work in, we are surrounded by other shops, offices & nearby schools. We probably cut as many locker keys as we do yale 1A's. And a lot of security which other people may not see very often.. How far do you want to narrow it down JDB? Danny King
In one shop we cut more era keys than 1a's. In the other shop which is 2 miles away we cut more 1a's than anything else Area has alot todo with it.

I have asked my local cobbler and hes been very helpful so i think i can norrow down whats popular for my immediate area from that. The 1A's seem very popular most places i guess and i have 4 other cylinders to look at. Thanx for the board pic John, very helpful ill have another look at your site etc now.
