Guest samtheman
Still got my old Mancuna the Rolls Royce in my time. Some of the new stuff is scary! Sam
Lee
I replaced my Mancuna with a Fotheringham machine, works very much like the old mancuna but is an engineering work of art! As with any small scale engineered machinery it has its quirks but I love it! Lee
ironplanet uk900
I hated manncuna's the first one I had ran with cables instead of gears I use a Lancer now and its the dogs gonads.
StevenB
When you get the opportunity, why not do a review of the Fotheringham, Lee, or your Lancer, UK? Just in case any of us are thinking of a new machine!
Lee
I did a review on the fothy in the October 2005 CuttingEdge magazine (page 36) I am awaiting a modification on the machine, perhaps I will do a new review when its complete! Lee
Thanks Napster, I have already talked to Mike, and David Fotheringham in the Isle of Wight. And the nice thing about this engineering marvel along with Davids engineering genius is despite a cost (annoying given that the update is to resolve issues with the first machines, which mine is) that my machine will be updated to the latest Dart spec. Despite this disappointing cost its still a brilliant machine and by far my favorite. I love making mortice keys now & know when updated I'll enjoy the process all the more. Lee
Its not a very clear image, its been pulled from my web site I will take some clearer ones when I get time, but it does show the quality of the machine, not a casting in site all made from solid engineered metal and allen headed bolts, really really nice! ironplanet uk900
Yeah, I've seen one before. never used one though, looks like a good solid machine.
