Andy_Davenport
AVAILABLE FROM JULY: This is not an update, its a software package that allows the RW3 to program Texas Crypto keys via a PC, using the RW3 and the new EHS2 electronic key heads. We are offering the software package plus 20 EHS2 key heads for £377 + VAT (offer reference VE0008) Yes, the computer must be powerful. The minimum specification is: Pentium 4 Windows 2000, XP compatible 128mb RAM (258mb recommended) 15GB Free space on hard disk DVD Reader By late September two stand alone versions should be available. The updated RW4 and the "Fast Copy". RW4 will feature code generation, whereas the cheaper Fast Copy will be a basic two button copying machine. Costs are likely to be in the region of £800 - £900. It is expected that Bianchi will launch their version later this year. We will keep you informed as information comes in.

Guest st jimmy
you need a pc only to update the actual transponder machine, the machine itself is a stand alone m/c..and no need to go to the car to be programmed.. if you allready have a rw2 or era plus m/c you can buy an add on for around £120.00 with no other m/c needed..all you need is the blanks and the electronic heads.. hope this helps
Guest napster (1961-2007)
st jimmy...you are thinking of the texcode module for the rw2 which will not do texas crypto... you need the rw3 + software to do the crypto keys..
Guest st jimmy
the rw3 is the same as the rw2, but with the tex module built in rather than having wires all over the place...which enables it to do exactly the same-crypto..
Andy_Davenport
You are getting your wires crossed st jimmy. The two systems are completely diffferent, Tex-code equipped RW2/Bianchi 883 will allow the user to copy Texas Fixed Code to EHS1 (Silca) / TK23 (Bianchi) key blanks, it will not copy Texas Crypto keys. The new EHS2 system will do both Texas Fixed Code & Texas Crypto keys. Referring to the EHS2 system, coding speeds are obviously PC dependent, but a well performing PC with the minimum required specification should code within 3 - 10 minutes, whereas a higher specification PC should code within 30 - 60 seconds. Guest brentlee
just a quick note to say have you checked out the rw4 which is coming. No need for a pc to do the crypto cloning. Machine will do stand alone fixed code, texas AND crypto all in one stand alone unit with no pc required. I am just waiting to see the price cheers brett
