Currently waiting on application for full membership but we are members of the guildof keycutters, which means we are registered with the mla, does wonders for your business this link.

So what is the guild of keycutters & what are the benefits of joining?

Being a member of the Guild of Keycutters carries recognition of being associated with MLA.

This means it gives us some clout with councils/police and like minded bodies.(contracts)

You do need to know your stuff though.

We are full members of the MLA and have been for 8 months. As a locksmith it seems to be invaluable. I regularly receive customers from the MLA web site.

the government are trying to regulate the locksmith industry to eliminate

(rogue traders)

 

the MLA seems to be the body most insurance companies and police authorities recognise

 

we joined as an approved company last year and have had a number of jobs because of this

 

i feel it is definately worth joining if you carry out any kind of locksmith work
