triax quattro jaws upgrade

Hello

I upgrade Triax quattro jaws to use  R30 instead or R1

so after installing R30 jaws I still can select R30 on keyboard and machine is still asking for old jaws

for example when I try to cut HU101 key and input biting in Instacode machine still ask for R260 and I can't change it to R30+19j and 02J

can I change it on Triax keyboard somehow? as I don't have SKP only IC

HU101 should be the R160 Jaw.

No idea as i use SKP well worth the money it still amazes me you buy a top end machine and try to run it on a budget.

Try contacting Silca UK Lee or Matt will be able to answer your question or even try asking Mike Whale at Aldridges.

I talk to my Silca dealer but still waiting for SKP sw price as they need answer from Silca HQ.

It is not very often machine in Croatia so my dealer not familiar with it

Yes sorry it ask for R160 but in manual it say I can use R30 for cutting Hu101 same as for  Hu162

r30 is one jaws for all of them so that is why I order it 

I hope my dealer will have info from Silca and I could order SKP I tought I could run it from Triax keyboard

With the Triax machines in fact all the high end Silca machines you can use instacode for most jobs but the specific software (which is bloody expensive) allows you to do so much more as it is designed to use the machine to it's full capability. Swapping jaws in software is one funtion but being able to manipulate depth, width and height of cuts is also another added function. All new jaws have to be calibrated before the machine wil see them and in the software you have a default option of which jaw you wish to use.

Have you got a manual for your machine ?, if not search Silca as there may be one you can download which may answer your question.

Yes I have manual for machine and I also calibrate new jaws and new 04TT tracer as instraction say

all I see is that Jaws can be selected only from Sw but not with keyboard

so looks like I will have to wait for Silca to get me SKP sw price.
