RimSlider
So I have this pair of leather Merrell cross-country ski boots and they have the classic Vibram boot soles, which I believe are rubber. On the "toe" part of the sole is an extension where the boots attach to the ski using a clamp which is attached to the ski. Long story short, there's a "crack" on the tip of the sole on one of the boots, probably caused because this is where the sole "flexes". I'd like to repair the sole myself, but I can't figure out what is the best repair "glue" to use. After doing some research, I think that maybe the best repair glue to use would be the Aquasure +FD as a permanent repair glue that both flexes and resists abrasion. It'll be on the "tip" of the boot, show there won't be much abrasion at all. If anyone could help me with some advice on this repair project, I'd really appreciate it. This is my first time on the Shoe Repair Forum. Thanks for your help. ~ Rimslider ~
Count Muppet
Stormsure would be good for this by the sounds of it, but aquasure is probably similar. Probably made by the same company or a copy
