Engraving Hockey Pucks

Hi guys, I have a request to put team logos on hockey pucks 

2 questions 

First, What is the going rate? I traced the logo but need to change the name and jersey numbers for each (16 of them)

Second, why does the image get different when I set the Z to deeper than 0?

If I set it to say  .020 most of the image disappears and looks like it thinks the tool is a large size when I have it set to .005 1/4 round
