HINY Cobbler Posted October 3, 2024 Report Share Posted October 3, 2024 It sounds like your whirl and pinion are worn out. They are the two gears that you see after removing the horn's cap. The whirl lassos the needle, while the pinion turns the whirl. Hand turning it on the hand wheel will not exert the torque as when engaging the motor.
