Importing a bitmap into vistool

Hi

 

I'm trying to engrave the attached image on a brass plaque as a grave marker for a young lad. It is Peter Rabbit, but when I open the bitmap in Vistool the image has a box around it which I obviously don't want to engrave.

 

Can anybody point me in the right direction as to what I am doing wrong or missing out ?

in gravo you can vector image (bmp) and it always has a box round it , what i do is ungroup the vectored image highlight box an delete

More or less the same in Vistool

Select all

Explode the group

Select the box and delete
