gender differences in buying.

Recommended Posts

A couple of weeks ago, during a thread, it was touched on men being more loyal customers. I am not completely convinced by this. I will say though that with men it is easier to cater for them with a core range, think of belts .If you carry blacks and browns in maybe 4/6 styles, you will sell lots of belts to men.

You could carry 6 colours and ten styles of women's belts and you still would not have what the customer wants. Wallets against purses is exactly the same. I love having core ranges, real bread and butter lines , proven sellers. (Plus my shop is v small.) That's why I don't sell womens belts and purses. Just mens belts and wallets, day in and day out.
