silverfern
Hi all. Normally don't have much problem with the lishi. First attempt at this car though. Had a quick attempt today, am going back tomorrow. I know I was close but ran out of time. Also the spacings didn't really line up that well. Lishi has positions 3-10 with last two pairs close together. First position didn't seem to be present but couldn't confirm with instacode whether it should have been there or not as it doesn't give wafer positions for this model. Any tips? silverfern
Hi. Yeah that's the sort of impression I was getting from the pick also. I'm determined to get it open also (first so I can make my shillings) so I can pull the bloody thing apart and see what's going on also. Thanks for your help Rockley. rapidlocks
this isnt a lock ive spent alot of time with , but i too have had locks that the tool fits like a glove and is perfect on , and others where it doesnt quite go in far enough , the ne75 3in1 is better but ive still encountered this on the odd door lock , possibly certain differs . i will try and get a range of locks sent to me and project this to find the issue when they give me a spare period , as i want to project the mg locks which all versions of the tool fail badly on . silverfern
So....I gently tapped the pick in a bit (it moved a fraction) and picked up another wafer which allowed me to pick to lock, but you guessed it not unlock, even though it was turned to about 1 o'clock. Was gonna concede defeat but thought I'd try impressioning (which I'm useless at) and managed to get it. Didn't get to inspect door lock as I just pulled ignition off and made a key. I find that easier as we do a lot of ignition servicing on those here. Just like to say thanks for your help and will be quoting substantially more on this in the future.
