lock&quay
Some one has told me that if you use their remotes to make a copy the origanal key will not work ? any comments ? thanks.
Lee
The Remotes are not an out & out replacement, where by two remotes can be used at the same time, each time you switch between remotes (original to Keyline or vice versa) the first time you use it you have to use it manually to re-sync & then its fine for the remainder of usage. I had a friend with a Fiat500, he doesn't want to use his original remote, just keep it as a spare. I did him a keyline one & he uses this day to day & is quite happy. if he loses it or need to use his original he uses it manually to open & start the car the first usage & then its resynced & fine (if that makes sense) Not as ideal as a programmed remote, but another option in the cloning world. lock&quay
So if two people use the car & one person has the origanal & they have been using it & the other person has the cloaned key they have to open the door with the key & start the car with the key once ? what about keyless entry stuff if you don't have the key that was last used ? Lee
you won't be using their remotes for keyless entry stuff.
