Evil bit of kit        don't waste your time and money. We used to spend hours faffing around with the one we had. Does do a good stitch when working correctly, but very often wont

I concur, I've spent days trying to get 'rescued' Frobana's to work in the past, bloody nightmare :?

Thanks for the replies.

It is running, but I,m not in a position to say how well, as I dont have any thread for it, or indeed good info on the method of threading the machine. I ran a piece of leather through it, and it appears to feed in the leather without skipping a beat, and the needle forms a stitch at regular distance. So at a first glance it seems to be working. But of course until its threaded properly, I wont know for sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. So as a complete novice to shoemaking at the moment, I,m all ears. Thanks.
