Lucab
Good morning Roger, what's the sofware version actually running on the 884? Have you tried to update the machine?

Davostech
Hi Roger, did you update via the tool? Or manually? if it was via the tool, please try downloading the whole update from the |KL website, onto your desktop, and just copy across the files one by one manually, feel free to call us if you need any more assistance i have found this solves the problem Hope this helps
Lee
I used the updater tool recently & when I switched on the machine got this in the display Update 884 reload key: 1-2 I downloaded the attached file from keyline website, opened my computer & inturn opened the machine (appears as disk884) unzipped the file & copy/pasted over direct without using the updater & the error went away, this might be related to your errors when using the machine? Perhaps someone from keyline can confirm which version of the download we need? one was named 884_vLastFull (which also showed the switch on error as with using the loader tool) & one was named 884_vlast (seamed to contain less files, but allowed the machine to boot up & operate OK) just as a matter of interest, what was the vehicle & year you returned the error with? roger
Hi all thank you for all your help Davenport have now sorted this out for me and i am very pleased the way it was all handled, as Mike said it was a hardware problem with the machine and not through the update as i tried updating both from the tool and also through drag and dropping of the files, so now i can move forward and make my customers happy.
