got an enquiry from a customer

 

I inherited a mobility scooter from my late fathers estate. It only came with one key and I mislaid it the other week, eventually I located it (why is it when you have lost something, is it always in the last place you look?)

 

I tried to get a copy cut today in Leicester where I live. The chap in the shop said they don't carry the right blank to cut me a copy.

 

On one side of the key it has the letters JD engraved and on the other side the numbers 7325. Obviously I cannot send you the key as I need my scooter. So can you help, by either telling me somewhere in Leicester I can get my key copied, or perhaps the numbers on the key will enable your company to make me a copy, I'm willing to pay a reasonable amount to get this carried out.

A lot of these scooters come with one key fits all scooters.

If you knew the breed of scooter you may find this one fits the case and then the supplier of the scooter will either supply another key or at least point you in the right direction.

Do you know if the key is single sided or double?

 

most 'JD' keys i have seen tend to be XH1223 for for single side & XH715 for double sided.

 

We can't cut them from that code though unfortunately.
