merc transponder key

need a little help have had a couple of customers this weekend ask is i can do these

RW 4 says copy on T5 chipped but i cannot find a blank in any book

any help appreciated

I'm not 100% on these, as I know the only one that will happily copy is the sprinter van. As far as I understand it, it may well copy, but if it is a rolling code (someone will know on here and confirm or put me right on it) then it will copy, and may start the car once, then not work again. I think also that if it is used to start the car, the original key will then now work as it will not have the correct code from the car on it.

i have ordered this type of key from dealers in past for c class etc key has come precoded just code in manual process but some can be done the eprom way,not done it myself this way but seen demo of it

Spinter keys use T5 chip (We have Dodge sprinter which used Merc system, and I can clone keys for Dodge sprinter) which we can clone with RW4 but these one I do not think that you can clone this key. These keys are programmable, you have to log into cars computer to add a key

thanks for your advise guys, im going to stay clear of these keys and point them to the nearest dealer,
