derek
just had a customer in asking about reprogramming keys to a vauxhall omega, year unknown, she had a problem with the boot lock and someone managed to open the boot for her, however since then the remotes on both her keys don't work, they worked before she had problems with the boot lock,am i right in thinking that the reason the remotes now don't work is to do with the boot lock being forced open? completelocks
I wouldn't have thought so. If you leave a door open then the locks will cycle because obviously they cannot lock an open door. I know that on the fords if there is a defective drivers door lock, then again the locks cycle and wont lock the car. I'm not 100% this is the case with vauxhalls, but its probably the same thing. I would say the central locking should still at least react to a button press. Try reprogramming remotes?
