help I'm a bit stumped!

Hi all

 

I've got a silca fast copy which a mate has had hanging around for ages. hes loaned it me but it needs updating.

 

hes given me a dvd and i've been on silca's website but i cant seem to get a download started.

 

any help appreciated

How are you trying to connect the fast copy to your pc ?

 

If it is an old firmware version you need a 9 pin serial to serial lead to connect it,but after one of the later versions

you can only update using a usb lead.

 

Have you installed the silca key program software then tried to update.

 

If you are still struggling pm me and if you don't mind paying for the postage for me to return it,send your unit through to me and

i will update it for you.

Try changing the "comm" from 1 to 3
