Simes
Hi, Is a VW Golf on Xreg (2000) likely to be cloneable? I'm struggling to tell without using the key in the tester. Is there a definitive list of what should and shouldn't be cloneable? Or am I missing something? I get lots of calls asking about keys but without experience I'm not necessarily going to know without putting the key in the tester. I'm probably missing something lol Simon
D-Power
VW Golf starting M.Y. 1998 (Golf IV) uses Megamos Crypto ID48 transponder and isn't cloneable, so 2000 model isn't cloneable In any case read the key with a transponder device, if the result is ID33 (philips fixed code), the key can be cloned on T5 transponder.
