petercoulson
It is similar, only the base part is different. we sell copies of the manual for these although you probably wont need the whole parts list? DN74: DN76

petercoulson
all stitchers can run on 1ph, as for which is best that is really a matter of opinion. some prefer hardo some prefer dn, even in the dn range there are variations which wome like and some dont. I think a lot to do with it is which stitcher you are used to. And dont forget thed Geneva. oh and then there are also some fimacs around. best forget them. keithm
In general I would concur with PC, but would add the following. The DN74 is very old now and the predecesor to the DN76, they are good machines but very, very rare, we've had 2 in the last 8 years. Fimac blakes were never the equal of the DN range and certainly nowhere as good as a Geneva, however, they can offer a solution if your budget is low. They do have their 'odd little ways', like the pedals being the oposite way round compared to a DN, which does catch a few people out. The lack of familiarity is generally the biggest problem. If you've never used a blake, then it's less of a problem of course
