vectorising help please

preview makes sense :D

as the macine is slightly out of alignment (for longer lines of text like this one which is whole 225 of engr area clear tape also helps me spot if it is accepable or not

no dont know what grouping means ..i know group and ungroup in corel but not in gift

You can resett the origin easily, so no need to check if job will fit. I have never used "gift" so can't advise on the group and ugroup.

origin is fine its a long line of text which if not 100% straight is spotable when compared to base of the plate if you know what i mean.on smaller length plates of upto 100mm its ok

i think there is a tiny give in the shaft which i loosen to bring the vice up or twist it..not that i can feel it but cant think of any other reason why it wont engrave spot on in line as shown in preview..
