Rizla
Saw some of this yesterday but the supplier " Moran's Wood Components" say they can no longer get it. Anyone know where I could get some from or an alternative for v-carving? Glyn

Guest PeterKettle
It's a pity Morans have stopped selling the ColourRout. However, you can make your own very easily. You can use any veneered MDF plaque or backing board - many suppliers including Morans and Mastergrave. Alternatively, you can buy veneered MDF in sheets and saw cut it yourself. Then, using a sponge or brush, apply any DIY woodstain to the engraving. The woodstain will wipe off the veneer without discolouring and soak into the MDF. One supplier for the sheets of veneered MDF is http://www.cfanderson.co.uk/products/ra ... F-Finaspan. The results will be just as good as ColourRout and you have the added benefit of controlling the colour of the stain. I hope this helps.
