Happy Dude
had a strange call this morning from someone wanting names put on some medals for tomorrow (sunday), she asked if i had a "medal stamp", i said no i engrave them but i could work late today to do them if there was enough to make it worthwhile and get her out the hole she was in trying to get medals done at short notice. 270 medals, all different... i didn't even get a chance to quote for them as i would have done a long shift to get them ready in time but she wasn't interested because i didn't do them with a "medal stamp" well you know what i'm going to ask.... what or is there such a thing as a "medal stamp" she described it as something you put the medal in and pull the handle... Happy Dude
Lastminute.com Lee my yellow pages advert does have "express service" on it, if she had really wanted them i would have done them for her, pulled a late shift and delivered them in the morning for £6.00 each.... \:D/ that would have gave me enough for a couple of beers when i go to norway in a fortnight.... £8.50 a pint, well .5 of a litre... Happy Dude
WOMANS A LOON however, i have found a stamp wiv a medal on cool.... maybe she thought that i could make the medals from scratch the way coins are made, where they are "struck" as it were... don't know what the turnaround on 270 of those would be if you include the designing and making up the dies.... yes, you're right, womans a loon.... i still would have done them for £6.00 each and delivered them... \:D/
