Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
Are you talking about the heavy plates or the ones for ladies pointy toes? If heavy and they are no longer made perhaps there is enough interest to get samples and get a smal Iron Foundry in the Midlands to make them up!!! Guest Klazykobbler
Thanks one and all. The ones I require are going onto hobnail boots that I have coming my way soon so I'll need the heavy buggers but my boss (tightwad) doesnt want to order the screw in jobs. I'll have at look at all suggestions. Cheers klazy kobblin goin on
Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
If all else fails get a bar of flat mild steel from B&Q or from scrap, cut to size and scour to shape, drill, countersink & screw on. (pain in the bum but it will get you out of a difficult situation).
'Onest Andy
Or why not get in contact with a local Farrier? After all those things that go onto the hobnail boots are pretty much horse shoes!
