Watch out for bobbins that are too small for the bobbin case, this allows thread to com off the bobbin and out of the case. It manifests itself by coming from behind the tension plate giving you the thought that you aint threaded it up right in the 1st place.

At the moment Siserve do one that is the best fit and they use them in the Adler machine (I find it strange using Singer bobbins and bobbin cases on an Adler but they do work good).

Watch also for needle clamps that allow the neddle to be below the foot when both are at their highest.

The moral of the story is, cheaper asian copies can cost dearly. Try to get parts with "simanco" stamped on them, can be ordered via a Singer retail shop though you will have to wait a little longer, same goes for needles too. (proper ones)
