Payson
Does anyone have any advice for me about a converter for single phase to 3 phase to run an outsole stitcher and a finisher? They don’t have to run concurrently but would be nice if they could for the future. Cheers all.
petercoulson
Hi Payson, depends on the stitcher motors and the voltages they can run at, if they are dual voltage 200/400 3ph you can do this relatively cheaply around £150-£200 if not it could be expensive Payson
Payson
Cheers for the speedy reply Peter! I dug into the old forum posts and probably should have done this first as there’s a lot of info on there, much of it from you so thanks again. I guess there are digital solutions now a days which seem to be cheaper and as mentioned in previous posts, there seems to be a market for people running old 3 phase lathes from single phase home workshops. Were you thinking the digital converter solution and do you guys mess around with that stuff at SiServe?
petercoulson
Yes and yes but simple enough for you so long as motors are dual voltage. Payson
