JB2013
Hi Everyone, Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Josh and I work for COLOP UK. I make polymer stamps, signs, badges, embossing presses and so on. I have in my arsenal a Gravograph IS7000 Engraving machine and x2 LS100 (30 & 55 Watt) and numerous other machines like vulcanizer's, jet plate machines etc.. I am currently having a problem with the 55W LS100. It has been re-branded by COLOP in Austria as a Compact 55W. The software I am using is called Job Manager and allows me to download rubber stamps orders off-line and automatically send them to the laser, however, the error message UC BOARD ???? keeps flashing when I send jobs to it. I have spoke to Gravograph directly but to no avail. The computer seems to be sending the jobs via the serial (or parallel) port instead of USB, there is usually an option in the about of section in the preferences to change it, but there isn't on mine because of the COLOP software. Does anyone have any idea on how I can fix this or what to try? Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Josh
Laser
Hello! I have with my Gravograph ls100 30W also the same problem - error message "UC board ????". Did you solve this problem with your machine? I would appreciate an answer very much. regards Günther
beware
Hi Gunther, In the printer preferences on the last tab press the picture of the laser. At the bottom of the screen maybe two options. Try the other one to the one selected. If you're using gravostyle, remove and readd the machine bit select the other uc board.
