Ridgeback
Cut one of the new NE75 blades for a 2005 Freelander. Thought I'd give it a quick test in the drivers door, wouldn't turn. Put it back in the machine for a 2nd run incase I'd missed a cut, still no joy. Examined them side by side, exactly the same, the customer is getting a bit twitchy now. Then I noticed that the NE75 is pointed at the end, where-as original is rounded off. That pointed bit added about 1.5mm, so it wasn't going fully into the keyway. When I cut it at the beginning, I simply followed the cut profile stopping at the last cut. Something to watch out if you get one of these. Most unusual for Silca to get the profile wrong.
