inscriptio
I'm looking at opening a shop In a shopping centre and hoping to go on the flat rate scheme. Anyone know If the vat can be claimed back on the rent. For anyone not aware of this scheme you pay a % (not sure of exact figure I think about 9%ish) of your turnover but you can't claim vat back on stock but you can claim for equipment over £2000.00. Lot less administration as well
Danny King
VAT can only be claimed back from rent if VAT is being charged on the rent. You willhave to find that out.
