How much should we charge for keys cut by code:

 

I.e. Garage door key which has been lost and we cut a new one fron code for them.

I usually use my regular price and multiply by three....

retail in the shop if customer comes in with code for locker garage type keys i charge £15 and cut while they wait as nobody around here retail cuts to code check out your competition first.

It's a tough one, and tbh I think depends on what the competition is charging. If they're charging three times their rate, then do the same, if not ask yourself have you invested more in the equipment or do you just order from a supplier?

 

If it's the later, then maybe your standard markup (100% I believe is typical on products as a rule of thumb)
