kingkey
my 55 plate has an alarm but if you put the key in and start the vehicle within 10 seconds it will not go off , its not easy to do this on a touareg though as you need to sit in the car and put your foot on the break before starting , i would not clone this if given the choice programme a proper remote key in

Guest NPXT
Thank's for your reply , I agree with you the best solution (for a final user) is original key with remote , but I haven't Pin code and SBB / MVP doesen't able to extract pin from Tuareg (I have test several touareg and they can't work) . The customer is a second hand car dealer and they need second spare key , to sell the vehicle (Insurance and law needs two keys) the original key isn't required. With My key the dealer save money and both we are happy !!! If the final user will want the third key (with remote) , he can go later time into an Official WV delaer and pay 100€ for a key and 50 € for programming )) . About Alarm issue , in my experience the OEM alarm VAG is armed when you lock the door (with remote or with key into door lock) and will disarmed (with remote or with a programmed key when you open the car and put it into a ignition lock in ON position withn 10/20 sec ). Tomorrow I give you the report if cloning key working well NPXT

Mark Davis
I don't think the 46 cloning is a good purchase at all, there are cars that use this chip that don't have an alarm and there are some motorbikes you can do, but i would assume most vehicles will have an alarm, i can't see many customers being happy with having to rush to put the key in the igniton, what if you just want to get something out of the boot? I've know idea what percentage will have an alarm or not but i can see it being a long time before you can recoupe the £1000.00 spent on the 46 cloner, it's not a winner is it . I see where NPXT is coming from, most second hand car dealers will do anything to make a sale, which country are you in NPXT where you need two keys to sell a car? Guest NPXT
If you are talking only about technical features I agree with you ! But if we evaluate , Costs , working time , ease of duplication I think there may be another choice ........... Everybody likes "I-phone" but you're sure it's necessary to call? It is expensive complicated to use ecc ecc ...
Guest NPXT
I’m Based in Italy And my main customers are dealers. I’m not supporter of Cloning keys It is only a chance for me!
Guest NPXT
Today I have cloned with successfull Touareg key using RW4+P-box and EHP HU66EHP , the alarm goes off after the opening door , when you insert the key into ignition within 20 sec (isn't necessary turn ignition on) . The immobilizer system (keys , transponder and immobilizer) are the same used by Audi Q8 and Porsche Cayenne. Price of my experss service 90€ , what do you think is cheap or expensive? how is the price of this same service in your country?
Mark Davis
How far did you travel to do this job?,how much did the key cost you?, how many euros do you get to a pound? how much is a litre of diesel in Italy? does that price include tax? Only you can know if it is a profitable job?
Guest NPXT
obviously I earned money I don't work for the glory or the fame! My question was , what could be the profit margin? Do you have the same margin in england ? I drove 60 KM / 37 Mile , the key blank cost 30€ ,the Price is VAT icluded . my price is competitive in Italy but I wanted to have informationo about the foreign market. Mark Davis
You traveled 60km each way giving total journy of 120km for 60euros profit?, seems very cheap to me, i doubt you could have got a taxi to travel that far for 60euros?. If the job was only a few km away then i think 60 euro would be ok? But i dont think it is relavent how much the cost would be in the UK as the cost of living could be completely different? I personally don't travel that far for work unless it is a very profitable job.
redcap
........the cost of living could be completely different? It is. Very different. So you are right; you cannot compare.... and it would be very misleading to try.
Guest NPXT
Thanks for reply , probably has no sense this compare , but I want growing my know-how not only into technical information but about all locksmith world . Into this globalized world only the professionalism and expertise will make the difference. Thanks
