Guest fordlover
Hi guys and gals.. Just looking for some info on the second generation Texas Crypto 6F transponders. I need to know where i can get these chips if they are available, or is there anything i can use to clone. I have been told the 4D-63 chips will work but this doesn't seem correct. I am hoping someone can shed some light on all this please..
D-Power
The 2nd TEX-CR generation trasponder 6F is an evolution of 1st generation TEX-CR 4D. They have some extra functions, like the possibility to store some info about the vehicle where is used, the possibility to use some advaced encryption features etc... But there's very few vehicles that uses these features, generally some USA ford group models. 6F transponder is compatible with 4D transponders. 6F transponders can be cloned on Silca EH2 keys via RW4 or FastCopy, we have severally tested this on many european Ford vehicles (6F-63), and worldwide Toyota and Lexus (6F-67, 6F-68 and 6F-70). On Ford vehicles that uses 6F-63 transponder you can also add via diagnostic device 4D-63 transponders wihtout problems.
