Lee
New IQ+ concept from Gravograph Gravograph have announced the launch of the IQ+ system, the company’s latest technological improvement for their range of engraving machines. Thanks to the IQ+ technology, Gravograph’s machines production rate is increased by up to 40%. This directly translates into superior productivity for users, who will be able to increase their volume of work without having to invest in additional machinery. Gravograph have also ensured that faster engraving cycles would not lead to a decrease in the quality of the engraving finish. The IQ+ concept does not limit itself to speeding up the machine movement and instead focuses on motion control optimisation. Simply put it means that Gravograph have been able to achieve greater engraving speed by being able to efficiently control it. The improvement is clearly visible to users. Take the example of the IS400, Gravograph’s best selling mid-range table: engraving speed for diamond marking has been increased from 35 to 100mm/s and off loading speed (i.e. machine travel speed when not engraving) from 60 to 150mm/s. And there is more than speed to the IQ+ concept. Memory capacity on all machines has been multiplied by four thanks to new CPU boards, enabling large and complex files such as complex logos or large multi-plate jobs to be processed without risk of data loss or corruption – that invariably result in time and material wastage. Machine accessories such as high frequency spindles are fully controlled by the IQ+ system (i.e. automated start / stop) ensuring compliance with international safety regulations. Finally the launch of the IQ+ system allows Gravograph, the world’s largest manufacturer of engraving machines to highlight their commitment to developing leading technology without compromising on environmental issues. Gravograph engraving machines are fully compliant to the European RoSH* regulations with all electronic components guaranteed to be without lead, mercury, cadmium and other environmentally dangerous substances.
