memorial stake

Does anyone know where i can get a small stake for a brass plate for a memorial plaque. Don't want anything as big as a tree stake, customer wants approx 4" x 4" plate with a stake to put in the ground but not sure where to get a stake from. Doesnt matter what the stake is made from as long as it's metal.

if it's going on a wood mount, you could use a length of 3mm aluminium maybe 2.5" wide with a few holes at the top to fix to the rear of the mount, then put it in a vice and put a bend at the top

birch do a nice wooden stake will last just as long as metal if thats what your after

 

the wood backing in picture is 125mm x 125mm plate size about 100mm x 100mm
