Craig Gardner
thanks all for your help but I may have managed to get hold of a couple of machines. Is the silca rw4 about the best coding machine on the market, does it do every thing apart from rolling codes..... it cant really do any more than a rw2 with a tex clone box added on apart from the fact the rw4 is stand alone and you need to connect to a pc to do the eh2 headed keys for texas crypto. but you can pic up a rw2 and tex clone box for half the price off a rw4. Technical Tony original
thanks all for your help but I may have managed to get hold of a couple of machines. Is the silca rw4 about the best coding machine on the market, does it do every thing apart from rolling codes..... Have a look at the new JMA TRS5000 - which also has a new Texas Crypto box that attaches to it . It copies all the rw2 (Plus tex advance box) and RW4 can do .. BUT the difference is that it uses CHIPS to copy onto SO no need for Battery heads to fail in use have a look on JMA's site .. Technical Tony original
Ok a quick run down for you - - these are the chips it can copy now . Fixed chips - MY 1995 - 2000 -> this is around 98-99% of cars in all these years Texas Chips - MY 1995 - 2000 -> this should copy all of these chips but the big difference is the TRS5000 use a chip to copy onto - Where as the RW4 use's a Battery head - this means with the Silca heads (or other makes on the market) the battery can and will run out ! - BUT with the JMA chips, as they are chips they will never run out Texas Crypto chips - MY 1999 - 2008 Present day -> this should copy most chips for these cars fitted with this type of system - but the big difference AGAIN is the TRS5000 (With Texas add on box) use a chip to copy onto - Where as the RW4 use's a Battery head - this means with the Silca heads (or other makes on the market) the battery can and will run out ! - BUT with the JMA chips, as they are chips they will never run out But so far this is it - Silca / KL / JMA etc ... are still trying to work on advanced machines to copy more chips to present day ! but so far nothing has been reported to copy these - but as they say - - - Watch this space
