Guest lee.
Always plenty of Dubbin in stock at your local Wilkinsons Hardware supermarkets ! , Black , Neutral , and Brown , Carr Day and Martin or Cherry Blossom , all at just 48 pence a tin ! , that is unless we have been in and bought it all . Got fed up with customers telling us it was much cheaper in Wilkinsons , when we asked why they did not get it at our local store , they would say that they had ran out ( probably because we had nipped in and cleared the shelves ) , our reply was ours was only 48 p when we had ran out as well . Guest k@lsb
.well done keep up the good work...ps send my cheque in the post lol Youre getting a cup of coffee and be thankfull for that One point I have to raise on the Website, they show the products but have they got the stock? So many times I see things of interest on the net only to find that they are out of stock, (usually underpriced to get your interest). When they discontinue lines due to unforseen circumstances they are never quick to remove the items from listings. Shoestring could be the exception, I dont know as I've never had the pleasure of contact with them. hugh, just to let you no, the reason why sometimes they may be out of stock and dont update there website quickly, is because alot of website management companys ,only change these once a month ,if youre lucky..as they are contracted and normally to save time and hassle they only do it once a month.....just thought id point this out.....most but not all
Hugh-Candoit (ENG)
I'm one of those fussy gits who expect instant action, I move Heaven & Earth in everything I do for others and expect (mistakenly)others to do the same. I deal with a guy who sells object of great interest on the Net and as soon as he runs out of one design or line he just puts SOLD OUT accross the item, this way he does not have to remove it and reinstall it when restocked. Very simple... very effective and costs nowt.
robinh
The gentleman from smmultiservices has hit the nail on the head. As a supplier we got thoroughly fed up for our customers having the public tell them that polish was so much cheaper at Wilkinsons (amongst other multiple retail outlets). To this end we stopped supporting Carr Day and Martin products. A similar problem has occured over the years in respect of Kiwi Polish which once again is sold at silly prices in some supermarkets. Some specialists claim that neatsfoot oil actually causes damage to the fibre structure of leather due to salts contained in the fats that are used in its manufacture. Something to ponder on there. Yes we can supply several products that do a similar job but unfortunately they carry a European name from which is not easy to guess the purpose or use of the product and the instructions are in French. Also the many of them contain mink or seal oil which seems to offend a lot of people. an't think why. ps Before you get peed off with your wholesaler - do you think we like missing a sale? . What pee's us off is supplying an alternative in good faith and then having to give credit because the customer will only have the ( unobtainable) item they first asked for. Hmph!
