December 2006 - Price survey

Recommended Posts

I have now set up our December Price survey.

I have sectioned the survey into 4 separate surveys since some members offer various services..

Since many jobs we all price differently, for example with engraving some price per letter, others per word I have this year given some questions a sample job to price.

The survey will run for 3 weeks un-till December 22nd only, when I will average out all the answers received & publish them in time for Christmas.

Please take the time to respond to these question to make this one of the largest pricing survey’s to have ever taken place. Provided we have a good response it will be a valuable tool for us to use.

The following categories can be answered at

SHOE REPAIRS (37 Questions)

closed

KEY CUTTING (26 Questions)

ENGRAVING (12 Questions)

WATCH REPAIRS (7 Questions)

Just an Update: We have had 28 members fill out the shoe repair section of the price survey, this is a fantastic response so if you haven't filled out yours there's just today & tomorrow to do it, as the survey closes on Saturday.

It shows what an important document the survey is, with 28 filling out the answers for averaging I noticed today that so far to date (Under a month) that the shoerepairer.info price survey has been downloaded 51 times.

I have just been adding a document to the downloads section, and came across the comment left by some of you for the price survey.

Thanks gents, None of us do things expecting to be thanked, But having spent nearly a whole day averaging out the results seeing the comments made it all worth while.

I also noticed the survey has now been downloaded 75 times! the most popular download to date proving how valuable the survey is.

Now TITS, did you book my OBE? I can just see it now, her majesty says "for services to cobblers, nominated by TITS" should make the headlines!

I have just sent of an email to Liz and mentioned that what you lack in height you make up for in heart and if she could pop a medal in the post that would be great, Told her to go for the more modern "Magnetic" fixing as you are a gentle wee lamb and that the big pointy pin might puncture your fair skin.

Look forward to her email :P
