Yesterday the site was under some maintenance and had a search outage for a couple of hours .

The suppliers of the new site had to run this in normal working hours sadly and it was unavoidable 

as the site ages this will generally not be an issue .

Hi Carl, the office has tried to call a couple of times to try and find out what the issue is , 

Are you able to call them directly , ask for Holly if she is free but anyone can help 01902 366448 

I have also had a look at the account and can see the 2 invoices mentioned so will need to check whats happening for you . 

I personally have spoken to a few people in the past (Last year) and some email systems have been placing the invoices into the junk system , so sometimes its as simple as checking this . (Worth a quick look ) 

Still please call the office so we can 100% check we have your email etc. set up correctly too, thank you .

They've sorted the problem by emailing my receipts. But the automated system did not email them, I can also view the invoice online just like you did but there was no vat number displayed so this would not cut it with HMRC for V.A.T. receipt purposes. Hopefully the system will be up and running next time I order. I do expect these problems with new websites it's inevitable. Thanks for your help again

Can invoices be emailed as attached PDF's?

I've just moved over to Xero accounting and I want to upload and attach as many invoices as possible rather than having folders of paper ones.

A lot more companies are doing this as standard now, saves me typing all the details in manually!!

Always had mine in a pdf format for years. I have to scan others that don't like NW keys and then upload so much prefer them already done.

HMRC do not want anthing on paper all digital and uploaded.

This is not correct, for the last almost year they had emailed me in pdf format automatically after my order was dispatched when the old website was running.

This will have to be something they address or many of us vat registered folk just wont bother with them as its not worth the hassle if HMRC come knocking

At the beginning of the year it always used to land in my spam folder mate. Then when i had moved several across to my inbox my email address started delivering them to my inbox. (Using Yahoo for this account) Probably not the same for everyone

I have passed this to IT to ask them to look at for you / us for  the future , thank you . .

Hi Sorry i was away for the Xmas hols. did this sort itself out - if not let me knowe and I can ask IT to check for you . 

We had noticed some items with £0.00 price had popped onto the website (new bugs) and this would stop an order  

IT believe they have found all (most) of these, but if you do find any please can you report these to us so we can amend 

      you can also delete the £0.00 items if this does happen and carry on ok .

Sorry I do not know, The MD has worked direclty with the supllier in sorting the site to get it up and running
