Copying a blue Noralsy 125khz fob invalidated the original

Never had a problem with these. Today, the copies didn't work, and the original stopped working. Worked OK earlier on, prior to copying.

I have no reason to disbelieve the customer, seems entirely trustworthy.

Any idea what could have happened?

Some fobs (Noralsy included) have an anti copy feature. Look up Noralsy anti copy and have a read of the github page as it goes into more detail.

Looks like you can copy the fob but then it’ll corrupt the original. All the stuff I’ve found is dated about 2022 so might have been in response to flipper zero and all the cheap import cloning tools out there.

You don’t get any warning either.
