cobblers.keys
What is the best way to secure a 4'' x 2'' trophy plate to a cylindrical bakelite cup base? The one I have come in the shop has got double sided tape sticking them together but it's "sprung off" one side. It needs to be engraved each year with next winners name and year etc.
Count Muppet
Either screw it on or use long nails and fold them over on the inside
cobblers.keys
Thanks count, do you know what the long nails/pins are called so I can get some? Standard trophy pins aren't long enough.
Count Muppet
I don’t know i thought they were just called trophy pins maybe you can use the ones that you can get for sewing?
cobblers.keys
Good idea. I managed to use a Dremel drill bit due to small hole required and use standard trophy pins.
Flash
B&Q sell frame fixers, one in each corner should sort the problem.
